For those of you who are regular followers of this blog much of this information may be old news. However, for those of you new to www.marktoolehpu.com it might be useful to learn a little about the additions and improvements that have occurred during the first half of 2010.

According to initial reactions things got off to a good start with 1) resources on the left-hand column such as Toole's Travels and Translate This (a Google powered device that allows the reader to translate the text of the website into one of countless languages other than English), and 2) resources on the right-hand column such as What I'm Reading and Recommended Reading.

This past January I added a whole new set of tools and resources including 1) the ability to follow me on Twitter (proftoole), 2) a list of Twitter favorites called Perspectives from the Path, 3) the ability to internally search this blog according to religious tradition or country, thru Learn More About, and 4) an expanded list of recommended websites and blogs, which includes links to sources such as Al Jazeera English, Christian Science Monitor, Japan Times, and Global Muslim Culture.

As for what's coming this summer... stay tuned for more pictures in Toole's Travels, a video greeting/introduction under the "Biography" link, and more installments of my new series "Religion & Pop Culture Alert!" Next fall anticipate some online polling, some video excerpts from this year's Family Weekend talk "What Would Buddha Do?: Reflections on Blind Turtles, Hamster Wheels, and Washing Dishes," and more resources for High Point University students.
