Registration for Fall 2010 classes at High Point University will be taking place in the coming weeks. So here are a few course suggestions:

1) Are you considering a career that may involve work with people in/from India, China, or Japan? You might consider enrolling in my section of REL/GBS 3331, titled Asian Thought and Global Concerns. The course will meet on Tues & Thurs 9:40 - 11:10am. We'll be discussing the intersection of religion & politics throughout Asia... plus this course fulfills an HPU Global Studies requirement.

2) Interested in traveling to Asia someday? You might consider registering for REL 2036, Religions of East Asia, where you'll learn more about the history, cultures and religious practices of China, Japan, and the Korean peninsula. Anyone can take this course as there are no prerequisites. (M, W, F 10:30-11:30am)

3) Do the religions of the world just baffle you? Are you interested in learning their differences and similarities? Consider joining us on Mon, Weds, & Fri 9:15 - 10:15am, in REL 1003, Sacred Experiences in World Religions, as we explore the religious practices and ideas that have shaped the world.
